7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Poem on Envy
You think I don’t notice
When you come back home
With the boons of your craft
When I sit starving
With a plate in front of me
When I reach out
With voracious appetite
When your grasp stings, like fire
With distance, I am safe
With envy
I don’t care if I don’t do the 7 Deadly Sins properly anymore!
Imma finish this challenge no matter how long this takes. It’s been 8 days and a little over 75% throu (I think) idgaf, this challenge is too funnn
7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Plot Idea on Wrath
Main Character is a student. He/she is of a melancholic personality, but positively nihilistic.
Main Character is deeply held in schoolwork, and unwilling to stop. Education is something he/she cares about, as it enriches their mind with conflicting thought and a challenge to their previous understanding.
Main Character has very few deeply held beliefs, and they are based on things that happened in the past to him/her. These beliefs make him/her very sentimental, and wary of certain actions almost superstitiously. This past will need to be fleshed out within the narrative.
Main Character is faced sentimental action and is sent in a fit of mad fury. Readers sympathize with this reaction, and see it as justified (for the most part).
Main Character faces the repercussions of his/her actions, and regrets ever doing them. This sends the Character into deep philosophical thought, concluding the story with a question.
7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Poem on Wrath
There is a fury pent up inside me
One which shall burn the four walls of this house
Turn genteel iron to mottled rust
Bring deep, emotional pain to the people around me
But I keep those words to myself
Because words have power
And that power is weaker
Than your silent ignorance
7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Plot Idea on Sloth
Character is an up and coming musician/performer. He/She has gained the attention of numerous producers for his/her’s eccentric compositions, and revival of a long gone genre of music.
Character scores a recording deal with one of the biggest, most well known companies, and is overwhelmed at the corporate responsibilities held over him/her.
Character works very hard early on, building a public image, going to interviews, performing at a frequent basis, etc. Gets tired and emotionally strained, and in a lethargic fit signs over a lot of his/her rights to another sweet talking, persuasive producer.
Character is given less of a responsibility to do things, and changes dramatically as a person. Excessive levels of drinking, eating, and partying deteriorate his/her health and willpower.
Essentially becoming a brand of his/her company, Character has lost all sense of personality, reducing his ratings. Magazines talk of his early success, and question whether he was a product of the industry, or if he was so rotten all along.
7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Poem on Sloth
I am bored, though not in the least tired.
I have a responsibility, and decisions affecting more than a million.
I have power,
I have hunger,
But I also have sloth.

7 Deadly Sins Challenge: Plot Idea on Greed
Character A has a sizable problem in wanting more than others, but nothing serious.
Character B is struggling to go by, with his/her problems increased by society’s culture of selfish desire. B is displeased with this, but is powerless to the masses and keeping his/her image with them.
B goes shopping. Meets A at aisle 5.
A judges B’s cart, goes to find better versions of products. Very obviously flaunts his trophies to B.
B cannot spend anymore, but gets similar products reluctantly, heads briskly to the checkout, trying not to gain A’s attention.
A follows B to the checkout with an odd sense of pride, watching B place items on travelator machine thingo.
B hesitantly gives his’her card to the cashier, knowing A is watching. Cashier tells there ain’t any money left on it. He/she needs to pay another $100.
“Why did you get all that?” asks A mockingly. B loses temper and yells at A how he/she taunted B a few moments earlier with his/her products. B storms off.
A quietly pays for his items and leaves. Cashier had written a disapproving comment on his receipt for him to remember.
